Boston Conveyor and Automation (BCA) is expanding rapidly, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our team in our clean, modern Newburyport facility. As a Press Brake Operator at BCA, you'll play a vital role in fabricating high-quality components. Your day-to-day will include:

Setting up and operating press brake machines and rolls to form metal parts accurately

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders

Selecting the right tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job

Measuring and inspecting finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and precision tools

Ensuring all work meets strict quality and dimensional standards

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace

Planning ahead and staying organised to meet production deadlines
You'll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, no two days are the same.
We're seeking a reliable, proactive individual who takes pride in their work:
Required:

2+ years of press brake operating experience
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
Ability to read and work from technical drawings

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)

High School diploma (or equivalent / on-the-job training)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
Preferred:

Experience working with large parts and stainless steel

Familiarity with hand and power tools
