Body Technician Required Job Skills:
· Auto body tear down and reassembly of vehicles.
· Assist repair planner with auto body blueprint of vehicles.
· Auto body repairs to a variety of different types of vehicles per specifications:
follow all OEM Procedures for a correct repair.
· Welding: both steel and aluminum.
· Collaboration with team members.
· ASE and/or I-Car certification(s) a plus.
· Track 3M products & Winzer parts for billing.
· Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
Detailer: Do Pre-Wash of Vehicles, Help Check in Vehicles, and do clean for delivery to a high standard.
Paint Technician Required Job Skills:
· Must be able to lead a team and drive production in the shop.
· Must be able to paint with water base paint.
· Follow proper prep / degreasing methods & follow correct sanding grit steps.
· Follow reverse masking procedures.
· Follow TDS procedures regarding product selection and application paint methods.
· Ability to read and comprehend SDS sheets.
· Self-diagnose issues and able to solve application errors.
· Knowledgeable in color adjustment.
· Strong focus on color accuracy and overall look of paint product.
· Embrace 5 S’s in mix room, paint booth and shop areas.
· Properly prepare raw plastics, fiberglass, and aluminum.
· Properly QC body labor performed before painting a vehicle.
Job Requirements:
· Recent & relevant work or educational experience - Minimum of (2) years.
· Mechanically inclined, extremely detail oriented, and visual.
· Internally motivated with a high commitment to excellence.
· Follow directions and deliver quality repairs to each and every customer.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and push/pull frequently.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Pass criminal background check & drug test.
· Eligibility to work within the United States.
