Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for executing thorough cleaning routines, performing custodial tasks, and supporting overall maintenance efforts to uphold our commitment to hygiene and safety.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, and service zones to meet health and safety standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to ensure a pristine appearance and safe walking surfaces
- Disinfect surfaces, tables, chairs, appliances, and fixtures regularly throughout the shift
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and maintaining recycling procedures
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, fixing minor issues, or reporting larger repairs needed
- Support floor care activities including polishing and buffing to preserve the restaurant’s polished look
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing essential
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and sanitation standards required
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
- Previous porter or facilities support experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
