Custodian
Monday - Friday | 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a busy healthcare facility in the Livonia area near the Five Mile Road corridor.
This position is focused on dusting, restroom cleaning, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, thorough, and comfortable working in a medical facility where cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail are important.
Responsibilities

Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned healthcare areas

Dust surfaces and maintain overall appearance of assigned spaces

Clean and maintain restrooms throughout assigned areas

Restock restroom and facility supplies as needed

Follow cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines

Report supply needs, facility concerns, or maintenance issues to management

Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
Requirements

Previous janitorial, custodial, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred

Must be comfortable cleaning restrooms during the shift

Must be comfortable working in a medical facility

Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic

Ability to work independently and stay on task

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift

Professional and respectful communication with staff, patients, visitors, and building occupants
