Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules for timeliness and customer satisfaction
- Assist with merchandising at delivery locations, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked according to company standards
- Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries
- Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip and transaction
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles 26FT box truck
- Strong math skills for accurate pricing calculations and transaction handling
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and traffic regulations for safe navigation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing organizational tasks efficiently
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles to ensure proper product display during deliveries
- Experience in sales or upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
- Familiarity with military discipline or experience that emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills
