About Us
We Play offers engaging, play-based recreational sports classes for young children (ages 1.5 to 8). We are seeking energetic, reliable Class Assistants to join our team this fall. This role is ideal for college students, aspiring educators, or anyone looking for a fun, flexible part-time position with minimal hours.
What You’ll Do
- Support Lead Coaches: Help run energetic, play-based sports activities and lesson plans.
- Engage Children: Work directly with kids ages 1.5–8 to keep them safe, included, and enthusiastic.
- Setup & Teardown: Assist with equipment setup and cleanup before and after sessions.
- Parent Communication: Interact professionally with parents, guardians, and team members.
What We’re Looking For
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young kids (especially ages 2–5).
- Punctual, reliable, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel between class locations in Greenwich, Stamford, and New Canaan.
- Preferred: Prior experience in childcare, summer camps, or early education (we will train the right candidate).
- Bonus: Creative ideas for play-based learning or basic sports knowledge (neither is required).
