We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across our residential portfolio. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can operate independently, and helps keep things running smoothly across multiple properties.
You’ll play a key role in completing service requests, executing unit turns, and supporting overall property upkeep while assisting in coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities.

Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs

Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner

Assist with and execute the Make-Ready/Turn Process, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and final unit inspections

Troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutions

Track and update work orders to ensure accuracy and completion

Assist with maintaining organized inventory and supplies

Communicate material needs to ensure jobs are completed efficiently

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

Help ensure quality and safety standards are met on all work performed

Serve as a resource for other maintenance technicians

Assist with training and onboarding of new team members as needed

Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas

Identify and address maintenance needs proactively
-
Maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained property conditions
-
Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-
Respond to maintenance emergencies in a timely manner
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training a plus
-
3+ years of property maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

EPA certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Ability to troubleshoot and work independently

Strong time management and organizational skills

Basic understanding of safety practices and OSHA standards

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to be on-call and respond to after-hours needs
-
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouch
-
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds

Use of ladders and power tools
-
Ability to operate a vehicle during work hours
