Pay

✅ $24.00/hour for applicable non-driving work
✅ Average 1,800–2,300 miles per week

Drivers begin and end trips at our Kernersville yard before dispatching to the Toyota Battery Manufacturing facility in Liberty, NC.

What You'll Be Doing
- Hauling battery parts and batteries in 53' dry van trailers
- Running regional routes throughout:
- North Carolina
- Tennessee
- Ohio
- Indiana
- Texas
- Additional locations as the account grows
- Picking up loads from Toyota suppliers and delivering to Liberty, NC
- Verifying freight using dispatch-provided check sheets
- Utilizing company apps to complete delivery confirmations
- Completing required paperwork upon return to the yard
Home Time
This is considered a light regional position.
- Some drivers will get home during the week depending on freight flow.
- Expect to spend most weeks on the road.
- Drivers should be prepared for up to 5 nights out per week.
- Must be flexible to:
- Dispatch Sunday–Friday
- Dispatch Monday–Saturday
- Return home on Saturdays as needed
Equipment
✅ Gently used assigned trucks
✅ Brand-new trailers
✅ 53' Dry Van trailers
✅ No Hazmat endorsement required
What We Are Looking For Required:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Professional driving experience
- Ability to operate electronic applications and mobile devices
- Excellent attendance and time management
- Strong focus on safety and professionalism
- Ability to live within 45 minutes of Kernersville, NC
Safety Requirements:
Toyota maintains very high safety standards. Drivers must:
- Wear steel-toe boots
- Wear safety vest, hard hat, and safety glasses while on site
- Meet strict appointment and pickup schedules

- Drivers must receive approval from company leadership prior to the interview process.
- Trainees and recent driving school graduates are not eligible for this position.
- Previous CDL experience is required.
