Position Summary
A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual (English/Spanish) Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support to its in-house legal team. This role is responsible for assisting with contract administration, legal documentation, compliance tracking, and matters related to property operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support & Documentation
- Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of contracts, including vendor, service, and operational agreements.
- Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, notices, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate legal files and document management systems.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for the legal team.
- Provide administrative support for legal projects and initiatives.
Property & Operational Legal Matters
- Coordinate with outside counsel regarding litigation and other legal matters.
- Assist with tenant-related legal issues, disputes, and documentation.
- Support the legal team in managing case files and tracking legal matters.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor regulatory deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Assist with maintaining compliance records and reporting.
- Support insurance claims administration and risk management documentation.
Bilingual Communication
- Serve as a liaison between English- and Spanish-speaking clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Translate legal documents, notices, and correspondence as needed.
- Facilitate accurate and professional communication across language barriers.
QualificationsRequired
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- Minimum of three (3) years of paralegal experience, preferably in real estate, property management, corporate law, or a related practice area.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with landlord-tenant law and eviction proceedings.
- Familiarity with property management regulations.
- Experience using legal case management software.
- Bachelor's degree.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
