Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients’ behavioral health history and current needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA), crisis management, and behavior management techniques
- Monitor vital signs and administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Engage with clients experiencing autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other behavioral health conditions through therapeutic activities and social work strategies
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress, behavior patterns, and treatment effectiveness to inform ongoing care adjustments
- Respond swiftly to behavioral crises or emergencies with effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Maintain detailed medical records, ensure confidentiality, and adhere to all medical terminology standards during documentation and communication
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to perform behavioral health assessments and apply evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, medication administration, and patient care procedures
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Certification or training in addiction counseling or special education is a plus but not required

Pay: $28.41 - $34.21 per hour
