The Dollhaus Beauty Co. is an independently owned boutique beauty studio specializing in full body waxing, brow design, and makeup. We are passionate about creating an exceptional guest experience while fostering a supportive, positive team culture.
We’re looking for an On-Site Manager who will serve as the day-to-day leader of our studio. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, creating an organized and welcoming environment, and helping a small business thrive. You’ll work directly with the owner to support our team, uphold our culture, and ensure the studio runs smoothly each day.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and creating an exceptional client experience.
- Communicate daily with the owner regarding studio operations, team performance, and priorities.
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Observe, coach, and support employees while helping them grow professionally.
- Conduct individual and team meetings as needed.
- Help resolve client and team member concerns with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
- Receive deliveries, unpack inventory, and perform weekly inventory counts.
- Assist with social media content creation and miscellaneous administrative projects.
- Ensure our policies, core values, and brand standards are consistently upheld.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has at least 1 year of leadership experience managing a team of five or more employees.
- Leads with professionalism, accountability, and emotional intelligence.
- Is organized, dependable, and proactive.
- Communicates confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Knows how to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and can remain calm under pressure.
- Enjoys creating an outstanding guest experience.
- Has a genuine interest in beauty, fashion, wellness, or personal style.
- Takes pride in keeping a business running smoothly and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous management experience in hospitality, retail, beauty, wellness, medical offices, or another customer-focused industry.
- Experience with hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, sales, or business operations.
- Comfortable using computers, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and learning new software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without constant direction.
