Job Summary

Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate part fabrication
- Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and CNC programming techniques
- Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
- Conduct quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other measurement tools to verify part accuracy
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters according to specifications and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine settings, production logs, and inspection reports
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code or M-code; experience with CAD software is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively to ensure continuous operation
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation, welding, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with 3D printing technology as it relates to prototype development or tooling applications
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), CAM programming, and tooling setup is preferred
- Basic understanding of schematics, manufacturing standards, and machining best practices
