American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and the ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.

Night shift hours: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)

15-week contract

Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
-
Procedures include continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
-
Equipment includes PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent, Pyxis medication management, and computerized charting

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience

State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

RRT preferred

NRP preferred

Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations

Prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday morning Employee Health appointment

Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption is required prior to the contract start date; flu vaccination may be administered at the Employee Health clearance appointment
