Join our clinical team as a Registered Medication Associate and play an important role in helping our residents remain healthy, comfortable, and supported throughout their day.
This part-time evening position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with residents while using their medication administration and caregiving skills in a rewarding senior living environment.

As a Resident Medication Associate, you will help ensure residents receive their medications safely, accurately, and with compassion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with applicable state regulations, physician orders, and community policies
- Accurately document medication administration and related information
- Follow established medication administration procedures and safety practices
- Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, adverse reactions, or changes in condition
- Promptly communicate concerns or changes to the Resident Care Director, Wellness Director, or appropriate supervisor
- Obtain, record, and report vital signs as indicated
- Assist with medication ordering, receiving, storage, and accountability procedures
- Ensure medications are stored securely and appropriately
- Complete medication counts and shift-to-shift medication accountability according to established procedures
- Monitor medication supplies and report concerns or needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Promote resident choice, dignity, privacy, and independence during medication administration
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, families, and members of the care team
- Follow infection prevention and universal precaution practices
- Maintain clean, safe, and properly functioning medication equipment and supplies
- Assist with resident care responsibilities as assigned and permitted by applicable regulations
- Maintain resident confidentiality and protect Protected Health Information
- Recognize and report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, mistreatment, or violations of residents' rights
- Participate in required training, competency programs, emergency drills, and safety activities
- Assist with emergency procedures and resident evacuation when necessary
- Follow all company, community, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain reliable attendance and arrive at your workstation ready to work at your scheduled time
- Perform other duties as assigned and required by applicable state regulations

- Successful completion of an approved Medication Technician/RMA training and certification program as required by applicable state regulations
- Must maintain required certification and complete continuing education as required
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of applicable medication administration techniques and procedures
- Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, healthcare, or senior living is preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must successfully complete required training and competency programs
- Must meet applicable health and employment requirements
- Must be able to work the scheduled 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift
This position involves active, hands-on resident care and requires the ability to:
- Move intermittently throughout the workday
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed
- Assist residents with mobility and personal care
- Lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 25 pounds as required by the position
- Use mechanical or assistive devices when appropriate
- Work safely with residents who may have physical, cognitive, or behavioral challenges
- Assist with emergency evacuation procedures when necessary
Employees must meet applicable community health requirements, including required health screenings and examinations, and comply with infection prevention, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and company policies.
