Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan SLP license (please be prepared to provide verification upon application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience working in school settings with students of varying ages
- Ability to independently manage a caseload, provide direct therapy, and oversee documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to best practices in student care
- Flexibility to provide services for both regular and extended school year (ESY) terms
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services for PreK-12 students, including therapy, evaluations, and individualized education program (IEP) participation
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support teams to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt to unique student needs, providing support across elementary and middle school populations
