A growing San Francisco household is looking to add a dedicated nanny to their family. This is a long-term placement built around infant care, with some support for an older sibling in the afternoons. The Details:
- Pay: $45+/hour DOE
- Hours: Weekdays, afternoon into evening (~30 hrs/week)
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Languages: Fluent English plus Mandarin or Japanese
- Commitment: Long-term placement
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Hands-on newborn care as the core of the role
- Bottle and pump equipment washing/sterilizing
- Keeping diaper stations, wipes, and nursery essentials stocked
- Sorting and organizing baby clothing and nursery storage
- Light involvement with an older child , school pickup, homework supervision, activity transport
- Simple meal/snack prep for the kids
- Kids' laundry (wash, fold, put away)
- General kitchen tidiness and light household upkeep
- The occasional errand (groceries, dry cleaning, etc.)
Who We're Looking For:
A seasoned newborn care nanny ,patient, calm under pressure, and genuinely drawn to this stage of infancy. Someone who can work independently in a home where parents are often present (WFH setup).
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years professional nanny experience, with real newborn care background
- CPR/First Aid certified (or open to certifying before start)
- Current immunizations: TDAP, TB, COVID, Flu, MMR, Varicella, Hep B
- Strong, checkable references from past families
