Mann Law Group is hiring an experienced personal injury litigation paralegal to assist in handling our growing number of litigation files. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and knowledgable with California state Court rules and deadlines, all phases of discovery, and is able to conduct basic research and legal drafting.
Job duties:
- Drafting and filing Complaint Packets for personal injury lawsuits;
- Calendaring all Court deadlines and preparing and filing documents in a timely manner, including subpoenas, deposition notices, expert designations, case management statements, and related documents and filings;
- Propounding and responding to discovery;
- Reviewing discovery responses and preparing meet and confer correspondence;
- Conducting legal research and preparing motion/opposition templates for attorneys;
- Supporting our attorneys through all phases of litigation;
- Preparing clients for depositions;
- Ensuring that all files are properly maintained and kept organized and updated;
- Regularly providing updates to our litigation clients;
- Drafting settlement demands and mediation briefs
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Experienced with filing and processing minor's compromises
- Please note that this is an in office position, remote work is not available
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
