Overview
Ron Clark Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Drafting Technician to join our team. This role involves creating drawings to support various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software and a strong understanding of architectural and drafting standards. Duties
- Develop detailed drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD Architecture.
- Create accurate construction documents for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
- Prepare detailed layouts and cross-sections for the interior design and field as needed.
- Collaborate with project manager to review drawings for accuracy and completeness before final submission.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and revisions in accordance with company standards.
- Participate, as needed, in project meetings to clarify design details and incorporate feedback into drawings.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD Architecture, other software knowledge related to Construction a plus
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards across architectural disciplines.
- Experience with construction documentation and technical schematics.
- Ability to interpret architectural sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers. This position is integral to delivering high-quality drawings that support successful execution of our residential projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
