Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager who can handle both sides of the business—accurately estimating new opportunities and leading awarded projects through completion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem-solving, and can lead teams with confidence. Because we focus on low-voltage systems, we’re seeking someone with proven experience in the field here in New Mexico. An RCDD certification would be a big plus, as structured cabling and design are important parts of what we do.
What You’ll Do Project Management
- Lead projects from kickoff through close-out — including developing schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Utilize construction project management software, Project Site.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and inspectors to keep everyone aligned on project expectations and timelines.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost tracking, and change orders, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Oversee crews and subcontractors, providing direction, resolving issues, and ensuring accountability in the field.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify installations, and identify potential risks early.
- Maintain all project documentation (drawings, submittals, RFIs, daily reports, close-out packages).
- Anticipate and solve problems that arise during construction—delays, material shortages, design conflicts—and keep projects moving forward.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on project status, upcoming needs, and financial performance.
- Work in partnership with Business Development to scope and price opportunities.
- Review bid packages, drawings, and specifications to determine accurate scope of work.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in New Mexico.
- Any experience with Project Site is a plus
- At least 3 years with a low-voltage electrical company.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, security, cabling, and AV systems.
- RCDD certification preferred
- Excellent leadership and delegation skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and staying on top of deadlines.
- Proficient with estimating tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to travel within New Mexico when needed.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate estimations.

Pay: From $82,000.00 per year
