Perform In-process testing, receiving, first piece Inspection, and final inspection of customer products.

Perform work in accordance to the ISO 9001/AS 9100 Standard

Perform mechanical inspections to all Military and Aerospace Standards

Perform visual and mechanical inspections using documents specified within the product traveler packet.

Work in cooperation with manufacturing to meet shipping schedules.

Interface effectively with all employees through written and verbal communication.

Perform all inspection duties in accordance with AS 9100 work instructions.

Interpret complex blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning and tolerance applications.

This is a designated safetysensitive position.

Must have at least a minimum of 2 years of mechanical inspection experience in surface plate inspection using height gauges, indicators, height micrometers and gauge blocks. Must be able to read, understand and follow department and company policies and procedures.

Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with other employees.

Must be proficient and knowledgeable in blueprint reading.

Must be proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and tolerance applications.

Must have knowledge and experience with micrometers, calipers and surface plate inspection using height gages and micrometers.

Ability to operate a CMM machine is a plus.

Must be able to handle items that may weigh up to 25 lbs.

Must be flexible to respond to changes in work instruction, schedules and environment.

Must be able to observe all safety rules associated with a shop environment.

Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with other employees.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Must have excellent handeye coordination.
