Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning, and organizing ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques for safety
- Follow all sanitation standards related to food handling and kitchen health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
