Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in delivering curriculum aligned with developmental milestones
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies
- Help prepare instructional materials, educational activities, and classroom resources to facilitate effective lesson planning and literacy, math, and sensory activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support
- Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement
- The overall set-up and clean-up of the classroom space
Skills
- Experience working with children in toddler care, preschool, or of elementary age
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students
- Ability to adapt to teaching evironments
