Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support food running and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to uphold a tidy dining area
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks using safe practices to move supplies or equipment
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to ensure guest safety
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs
- Support in in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service and teamwork
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
