Our restaurant is seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations with passion and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive culture.
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including inventory management, food quality and safety, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, training & development, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Supervise daily shift management activities such as cashiering, cash handling, customer interactions, and restaurant cleanliness.
- Implement effective inventory control procedures, stock replenishment strategies, and purchasing decisions to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular financial oversight including budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and sales reporting to ensure operational excellence.
- Develop marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales while maintaining excellent communication with staff and customers alike.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the restaurant industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Experience with catering is desired but not a requirement.
- Extensive experience with retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising techniques, and restaurant management software.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in restaurant environments with a focus on team management and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills paired with organizational skills to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
