Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Overtime: Occasional, but not frequent
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a plasma burn table or similar CNC cutting equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the burn table safely and efficiently
- Load and unload material as needed
- Read job paperwork, measurements, and basic drawings
- Inspect cut parts for accuracy and quality
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report any equipment issues
- Keep the machine, work area, and surrounding shop space clean and organized
- Assist with other shop duties when needed
Qualifications
- Previous burn table, plasma table, or CNC cutting experience preferred
- Previous fabrication or general shop experience is strongly preferred
- Experience operating a saw or grinder is a plus
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to help where needed
- Must be able to work safely and follow instructions
- Ability to lift and handle materials associated with the position
- Must maintain a clean and organized work environment
