Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during a wide range of dental procedures
- Perform expanded duties in accordance with Kentucky regulations
- Take quality digital radiographs
- Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns
- Place and finish restorations as permitted by EDDA certification
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards
- Educate patients on treatment and oral health
- Support a positive patient experience from start to finish
- Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications:
- Current Kentucky Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification
- Current X-ray certification
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
- Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
