Production Specialist plays a critical role in the fabrication of foam-based products. This position involves various tasks related to the manufacturing process, including cutting, shaping, and assembling foam components.
Position Responsibilities:

Foam Cutting and Shaping: Operate die cut and other cutting machines and tools to precisely cut and shape foam materials according to production specifications.

Quality Control: Inspect foam products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

Material Handling: Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products within the production area.

Package and wrap finished product, manipulate product on table to position it so that it can be wrapped according to customer specifications, count and track number of product wrapped

Moving finished and unfinished goods using equipment such as pallet jacks. Communicate with work station coworker to ensure that goods are complete and ready for movement to next work cell.

Receive, shake and inspect foam and prepare for next staging area, carefully handle the foam to avoid rips, cuts or tears.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment; report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the proper disposal of waste materials and the recycling of reusable components.

Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow and meet production targets.
Qualifications

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in foam fabrication, is preferred but not required.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in cutting, shaping, and assembling foam components.
