Specialty Pest Control Technician – Walker Pest Management
$22 to $24 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
As a Specialty Technician, you'll handle a variety of pest control services, including:
- Completing your assigned area's tickets for the day in a company-provided vehicle
- Heading to customer homes, identifying the issues they are facing, solving those problems, and helping establish a preventative pest barrier
- Applying treatments safely and effectively, following label instructions and safety protocols
- Communicating clearly with customers and team about findings, treatment plans, and prevention tips
- Keeping accurate service records by completing tickets and required documentation
- Building trust with customers by providing the kind of service that keeps their spaces as pest-free as possible
- Cross-training on installing termite bait stations, applying liquid termite treatments, and performing bed bug treatments
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years (required)
- Pest control experience is a plus, but not required. Don't let your lack of experience stop you from applying. Many of our best technicians came from outside the industry.
- Experience pulling a trailer and using power tools is a perk, but not required
- Someone who's comfortable with physical work, pays attention to detail, and will represent our company well in customers' homes and businesses

In conjunction with OSHA's requirements for our PPE, field technicians are not allowed to have a beard in this role, but a well-maintained mustache is acceptable.
