Assistant Project Manager
Blue Chip Construction, LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Assistant Project Manager to work directly alongside the company owner in managing residential construction projects and improving day-to-day business operations.
This position combines project coordination, administrative support, procurement, scheduling, customer communication, and process development. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in the office and in the field and is interested in helping a growing construction company create more efficient and automated systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling subcontractors, employees, inspections, deliveries, and project milestones.
- Coordinate material procurement, supplier orders, product selections, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers regarding project updates and requirements.
- Create and maintain project reports, schedules, task lists, material lists, and job documentation.
- Help implement and improve CRM systems, automated workflows, templates, and internal business processes.
- Track project progress and help identify scheduling conflicts, material delays, and outstanding tasks.
- Assist with job-site visits, material pickups, deliveries, measurements, and project documentation.
- Support estimating, sales follow-up, change orders, customer selections, and proposal preparation.
- Help organize project photos, contracts, permits, invoices, receipts, warranties, and product information.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, customer follow-up, social media content, and company branding when needed.
- Perform other administrative and field-related tasks necessary to keep projects moving efficiently.

- Residential construction or remodeling
- Project management or construction coordination
- CRM software and workflow automation
- Scheduling and procurement
- Sales and customer service
- Marketing and social media
- Interior or exterior design
- Estimating, proposals, and construction documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be dependable, organized, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be comfortable using computers, smartphones, cloud-based software, and digital project-management tools.
- Must be willing to visit job sites, suppliers, customers, and other project locations as needed.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems independently.
- Construction knowledge is preferred but not required for a candidate who is motivated and willing to learn.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
