Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Salem, Oregon
Shift: Full-time Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
Description:
Our cardiology clinic is seeking a full -time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have EPIC/EHR experience, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong ability to follow direction and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Desire to create a positive experience for every patient
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Oregon Driver's License is required
- Current Medical Assistant certification from recognized program required
- EPIC/EHR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Educating patients on medications and physician instructions
- Medical phone triage
Working Conditions:
- Adequate visual and hearing ability to safely read, communicate, and perform clinical procedures
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform skills and procedures required for safe patient care
