Administrative Coordinator / Student Recruiter
Dental Assisting Institute
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and outgoing Administrative Coordinator / Student Recruiter to join our growing Dental Assistant School team. A background in dental assisting is highly preferred and ideal for this role, as the candidate will help guide and recruit future students interested in pursuing a career in the dental field.
This position combines student recruitment, administrative support, lead management, and customer service. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective students for upcoming Dental Assistant program sessions
- Build relationships with local high schools, career centers, and community organizations
- Attend career fairs, school events, and networking opportunities to market the program
- Respond to phone calls, texts, emails, and inquiries regarding the school and program details
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain consistent communication throughout the enrollment process
- Maintain and update student information using the school CRM system
- Track leads, inquiries, and student enrollment activity
- Assist with student onboarding and administrative paperwork
- Monitor payment plans and follow up regarding outstanding or late payments professionally
- Maintain organized records of prospective students, enrolled students, and payment activity
- Assist with general office administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant experience or dental field background preferred
- Previous experience in recruiting, admissions, customer service, sales, or administrative support is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with students, parents, and community partners
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage follow-ups efficiently
- Experience using CRM systems or lead tracking software preferred
- Professional, positive, and self-driven attitude
- Reliable transportation for local school visits and career fairs
Schedule & Compensation

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone passionate about education who enjoys connecting with people, can help grow student enrollment, and can provide excellent administrative support to our school and students. You must be available to attend career fairs and find unique ways to market and attract students to the school, responsible for recruiting a minimum of 10 students per session. Be able to explain payments plans and draw up plans to help student afford program
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
