Overhead Door Company of Portland Maine is looking for a motivated individual to join our Hollow Metal-Walk through Door Division team as an apprentice-helper technician. You will work on a two man crew installing & servicing walk through passage doors, industrial doors, specialty doors, automatic door equipment, bathroom partitions and various specialty equipment. Door industry or Job site construction experience, a strong mechanical background, power tool skills, technical education, welding/ knowledge skills are a plus. Job requires good communication skills both verbal & written, along with the ability to work independently & as part of a team. You will also have the oppurtunity to work in the overhead door division at times as work flow may warrant. You will work at various heights from ladders and different types of platform lift equipment.
