Building Inspector II Details:
-
Temporary position
-
$36.14 to $52.50 /hour
-
Full Time work available
-
First Shift (Monday through Monday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)

Perform building inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects to ensure code compliance.

Review building plans, permits, and construction documents for accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, developers, engineers, architects, and homeowners.

Conduct stormwater, drainage, erosion, and safety inspections while maintaining detailed records and reports.

Investigate complaints, violations, and unsafe conditions to help ensure public safety and quality construction.
Building Inspector II Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in building inspections, construction, blueprint reading, or a related field. Valid
-
Utah Driver License (unrestricted) required.

Must have ICC Certifications in Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical (Residential & Commercial).

Valid State Combination Inspector License with strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and safety regulations.

Ability to interpret plans, communicate effectively with contractors/public, and use inspection reporting software.
