- 12‑hour Days, 07:00–19:00 (Friday–Sunday)
- 12‑hour Days, 07:00–19:00 (Every Other Weekend)
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Radius Rule: None
- Pay Range: $49–$54 per hour
Job Description
The RN – ICU will provide high‑level critical care to patients requiring continuous monitoring, advanced life‑support interventions, and rapid clinical decision‑making. This role requires strong experience with critical care drips, invasive lines, ventilators, and complex patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage critical care drips including vasopressors, insulin, and sedation
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes
- Manage invasive lines (ART/CVP)
- Care for ventilated patients and troubleshoot ventilator issues
- Manage chest tubes, blood products, and wound care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care
- Float within scope of practice; paid for travel time if floating mid‑shift
- Document accurately using EPIC
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Required:
- Active RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Strong competencies in:
- Critical drips
- Ventilator management
- Invasive line care
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Ability to work independently in a high‑acuity environment
- Experience with electronic charting systems
