Ignite is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems. In addition, our ideal technician will show excellent communication skills. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heaters, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
- Offer club memberships and upgrades.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing client concerns and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Drive company van to various job sites as required for service calls.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of HVAC/R.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to weld and perform basic mechanical repairs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
