- Serve a variety of ice cream flavors, candies, and other sweet treats with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Greet every customer with a welcome greeting and a smile.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
- Upsell additional items like toppings, specialty desserts, or gift options to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, counters, and seating spaces.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking shelves, cleaning tables, and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, utensils, ice cream buckets and take out trash
- Refill products on shelves, freezers and coolers.
- late morning (10:00/11:00) to mid/late afternoon shifts available
- mid afternoon to 11:00 pm shifts available
- 3-4 hour shifts (6:30/7:00-11:00 pm) shifts available
- Can be very fliexible with scheduling
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, customer service,quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Square is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Able to stand and walk for hours at a time and lift at least 25 pounds.Come into the store Monday through Friday anytime between 11:00 – 2:00 pm and introduce yourself and speak with management or apply online.
