Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Circulator
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Call, Weekends, or Holidays
Are you an experienced Operating Room nurse looking for a position that offers meaningful work and a better work-life balance? Helena SurgiCenter is seeking a full-time RN Circulator to join our collaborative surgical team.
Our nurses work with a variety of elective outpatient procedures—from cataract surgery to total joint replacements—with a strong orthopedic focus. This position offers the pace and variety of the OR without call, weekends, or holidays.

Position Responsibilities
The RN Circulator coordinates and provides nursing care throughout the perioperative experience in accordance with professional standards, facility policies, and established clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Circulating for elective outpatient surgical procedures, including orthopedic, ophthalmology, and other specialty cases
- Completing preoperative assessments and confirming patient readiness for surgery
- Coordinating care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the clinical team
- Advocating for patient safety throughout the surgical experience
- Supporting sterile technique and infection-prevention practices
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensuring equipment, supplies, and medications are available for assigned procedures
- Participating in quality-improvement and regulatory-compliance activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Montana RN license
- At least one year of perioperative or Operating Room experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
