Account Executive Job Responsibilities:
Generates revenue by farming existing customer base for orders and referrals, cultivates opportunities from leads, and onboards new customers using understanding and knowledge of technical requirements and sales skills.

● 3+ years of previous technical sales experience and/or 5+ years of proven sales success in telecommunications (required).
● Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills
● Ability to work under pressure of quota and adapt to a changing environment
● Manage/overcome prospect objections
● A passion for technology and ability to relate technology to business
● Knowledge of telecommunications a plus
● Bachelor's degree in Business or Equivalent experience in related field
Account Executive Job Duties:
● Foster leads through active engagement and guide prospect through the sales process working towards opportunity closure
● Build rapport with existing customers and uncover additional sales opportunities through cross selling and upselling
● Develop relationships with existing customers to generate referral opportunities
● Close new accounts generated from inbound calls and emails
● Manage customer base and leads utilizing CRM and effective data entry to strive for efficient work flow processes
● Create and track sales pipeline within CRM, report on pipeline growth as well as identify top opportunities being worked
● Collaborate with engineers when appropriate to assist customers and prospects in identifying the correct solution to meet their current and future telecom needs
● Accomplish departmental and organizational goals by following guidance from leadership and communicating needed areas of improvement
● Actively pursue self-growth by honing sales skills, learning about competitors, and learning about new products or technology
● Review overall performance, including production, close percentage and technical proficiency with management on a monthly basis.
● Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota.....create urgency, and CLOSE the sale over the phone.
● Sell customer solutions with a keen eye towards matching the customer with the right solution for their needs.
