Smartscaping is seeking a licensed landscape irrigator to join our team in Houston, TX 77054. As a family-owned landscaping and construction firm specializing in custom landscape design and maintenance, we are dedicated to providing seamless, high-quality landscaping solutions for both residential and commercial properties.
Job Expectations:
- Install and repair irrigation systems, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads
- Perform routine irrigation inspections and troubleshooting
- Diagnose leaks, broken lines, wiring issues, and coverage problems
- Adjust irrigation schedules and controllers based on seasonal needs
- Ensure proper water coverage and system efficiency
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles
Qualifications:
- Previous irrigation experience preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
