Bay Presbyterian Church Bonita Springs, FL is seeking individuals to assist with our Audio and Video ministry on a part time basis.
Applicants for this position must have prior experience with sound and video equipment and related software. For example: Allen & Heath 16 channel analog sound board, Shure wired and wireless microphones, Blackmagic Video Encoder, Apple I-mac media computer, ProPresenter and OBS software, PTZ and fixed video cameras, and multiple large screen TV's throughout the facility.
Operators will be expected to work ALL Sunday morning worship services. We will use volunteers for occasions when a paid operator is not available due to illness or emergency and any other church events (memorial services, conferences, church events) requiring audio and visual equipment.
· It is preferred that the person in this position have a credible profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
· This position requires the AV Operator(s) be present for ALL Sunday morning worship services. If unable to serve due to illness or emergency the AV Operator(s) must notify the AV Coordinator and Senior Pastor a minimum of 2 hours prior-to the service so that alternative operator(s) can be notified.
SCOPE: The AV Operator is an independent contractor compensated position on a part-time basis.
· The AV Operator shall be responsible for fulfilling the operation of the church audio and video systems.
· The AV Operator shall interact with the pastoral staff if maintenance is required and/or suggest improvements to the Audio and Video systems
WORKING HOURS:
· January through April consists of 2 worship services. First service is from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, second service is from 11:00 AM – Noon. During these dates the AV Operator is expected to be present from 8:30 AM to 12:30 AM (4 hours).
· April through December Bay Presbyterian Church has 1 worship service from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. During these dates the AV Operator is expected to be present from 8:30 AM to 11:30 PM (3 hours).
Pay: $30.00 per hour
