RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Family Support Worker Supervisor will perform duties including, but not limited to:
- Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
- Travels as needed, to provide and support the provision of services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance
with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
- Completes all required documentation and training in a timely manner.
- Coordinates, and facilitates the transportation for the youth and families in the community, including but not limited to,
family visitation time, mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, independent living, crisis, and social
services appointments.
- Works with program staff to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationship with foster parents and families of origin.
- Actively participates in the regular supervision process with direct reports.
- Review, process and assign all referrals for transportation and visitation for the youth and families in the community, as
appropriate.
- Performs other duties as requested.
