We’re looking for a kind, patient, and reliable preschool teacher who loves working with children and is passionate about supporting their development.
- Full-time: M-F. 8hour shifts
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a licensed preschool facility
- Experience supporting children who have endured trauma or developmental delays
- Experience with children ages 19 months to 8 years
- Must pass a background check
- 18 years or older
- Current food handler card, CPR, and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain within one week of hire)
- Physical ability to lift small children, get up and down from the floor, and be on your feet for long periods
- High energy level and ability to work independently in a classroom of up to 10 children
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage positively with children and parents
- Diaper changing and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Meeting the daily needs of all children
- Cleaning and organizing the classroom throughout the day
- Lesson planning and maintaining classroom structure
- Serving meals and ensuring children’s safety
- Maintaining accurate headcounts and documentation
- Participating in ongoing child development training
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
