Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door and Window salesperson to join our team! In this customer-focused role, you will help homeowners find the right products to complete their visions for their new home builds or renovations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in construction and customer service while working with a diverse range of clients. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their remodeling process, from initial consultation to project completion, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for their projects.
- Follow up on leads and generate new business.
- Provide expert advice on product recommendations and create accurate estimates.
- Manage inside sales and outside sales efforts by building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Communicate with the installer to ensure a smooth customer experience through the entire process.
- Maintain organized records of account management activities .
- Meet or exceed sales goals while providing outstanding customer service
- Support store operations through organizing displays and ensuring the showroom reflects current trends/options
Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Strong background in renovation, remodeling, construction, or interior design industries is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated success sales environments with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, merchandising techniques, and basic math skills for accurate estimates.
- Organizational skills to manage account details, project timelines, and inventory efficiently.
- Knowledge of measurements and install requirements in regards to doors and windows preferred
- A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail setting.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
