We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Morning Cashier to join our team at Judge Convenience, Inc. The Morning Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment during the morning shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions for fuel, convenience items, and other products
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales counter, store, and restrooms
- Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed
- Assist with inventory checks and receive new merchandise
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Comply with all store policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Provide information about promotions, products, and services
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
- Perform opening shift duties, including preparing the register and store for business
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
Schedule:
Morning shift, typically 4:45 AM – 2:00 PM.
