We're a busy, loving family balancing two careers in medicine with life at home with our two young children and our sweet dog. Our days can feel full and sometimes a little unpredictable, especially with one parent's rotating hospital schedule—but at the heart of it, we really value creating a home that feels calm, supportive, and grounded.
One parent works a more traditional schedule, while the other has a variable schedule that can include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Because of this, our routines can shift week to week, and flexibility is an important part of how our household runs.
We have a childcare setup that's working well, along with family support when needed. What we're really looking for now is someone who can help bring ease and flow to the day-to-day rhythms of our home—someone who helps things feel organized, cared for, and steady behind the scenes.
We value organization, flexibility, and a proactive approach to keeping the household running smoothly. Afternoons are often the busiest part of our day—transitioning from work and daycare, managing dinner, and settling into the evening—so having someone who has thoughtfully prepared for that window makes a huge difference.
One of the most meaningful ways you can support our family is through thoughtful, high-quality meal preparation. Having healthy, delicious meals ready to go—or meals that require very minimal effort to finish—will completely transform our evenings. It will allow us to shift out of “logistics mode” into being present with our kids.
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of this piece—planning ahead, prepping ingredients or full meals, and ensuring that dinner feels easy, nourishing, and seamless at the end of a long day.
We're looking for a steady, organized presence who can help bring structure and a sense of calm during that time, allowing our evenings to feel more relaxed and enjoyable as a family. We truly value having time to be present together, and we're hoping to find someone who can support that by keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
We're looking for someone who brings a steady, grounding presence into a busy household—someone who helps the home feel calm, organized, and cared for.
You're proactive and self-directed, noticing what needs to be done and taking thoughtful initiative without needing direction. You have a strong sense of ownership in your work and approach the role with a “project manager” mindset—able to manage multiple responsibilities, stay organized, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
You are truly a “meal prep genius.” You enjoy planning and preparing healthy, flavorful meals that make life easier for the family—whether that means fully prepared dinners or ready-to-assemble meals that take little to no effort at the end of the day. You understand how to balance nutrition, taste, and efficiency, and you take pride in creating meals that the family looks forward to.
You enjoy creating systems and maintaining order, especially to support the busy afternoon transition as everyone comes home and the evening begins. You think ahead, anticipate needs, and take pride in helping the household transition smoothly so evenings can feel more relaxed and enjoyable for the family.
You're adaptable and reliable, bringing consistency even in a dynamic environment. At the same time, you're warm, kind, and professional. You know how to support a family while respecting boundaries, and you understand when to step in and when to step back.
We'd love someone confident, intuitive, and comfortable working independently—someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys creating a well-run, peaceful home environment.
