Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Morning Line Cook to join our culinary team, starting bright and early at 5 a.m.

As a Morning Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals with precision and consistency, ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary skills will help set the tone for the day, delivering fresh, flavorful offerings to our guests and supporting our dietary department’s mission to provide nutritious options.
Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast and other menu items with speed and accuracy, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food warmers safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols including sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance and suggesting improvements for efficiency or flavor enhancements
- Handle food production tasks including food handling, portioning, garnishing, and plating to ensure quality presentation
- Support dietary department needs by preparing special dietary meals or modifications as required
- Maintain high standards of food safety management and hygiene throughout all stages of meal preparation
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in high-volume kitchens or fine dining settings
- Dietary aide experience or familiarity with dietary department procedures is advantageous
- Skilled in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and general cooking methods
- Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of recipe adherence for consistent quality output
- Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Catering experience or serving in a fast-paced setting is a plus
