Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join our expanding digestive health program in Lima, Ohio. This position provides an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice supported by a strong referral network and modern endoscopy facilities. The physician will diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders while collaborating with primary care physicians and specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic interventions.

Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients regarding gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and preventive care.

Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Requirements
-
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.

Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.

Excellent clinical and procedural skills.
