Do you love spending time with dogs? Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with cleaning? The Village Unleashed is seeking part-time personnel to care for, feed, and exercise our boarding/daycare dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Daily Care: Provide daily care for the dogs, including feeding, watering, and cleaning all areas (such as picking up poop, pee and hair).
- Behavior Monitoring: Observe animal behavior, health, and well-being, reporting any concerns.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as directed by pet parents (no injections).
- Safe Handling: Handle animals safely and with compassion.
- Grooming: Perform basic grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trims.
- Interaction: Engage in dog and owner interaction, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Facility Maintenance: Clean indoor and outdoor areas, maintain a sanitary environment.
- Check-In/Out Procedures: Assist with pet check-in and check-out procedures using our reservation system.
- Transaction Handling: Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately through our point of sale system.
Must Be Comfortable With:
- Dog and Owner Interaction: Enjoy engaging with pets and their owners.
- Management and Staff Communication: Communicate effectively with management and team members.
- Food/Medication Administration: Set up and administer food and medications.
- Cleaning Duties: Perform cleaning tasks both indoors and outdoors.
- Grooming Tasks: Provide baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and brush outs.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience: Experience with dogs is a plus but not required.
