JOB Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Materials, Training and Utilities. Directs the daily activities of assigned Support Service Crew technicians. Prepares, plans and implements all phases of the various Support Service activities. trains, supervises and evaluates assigned personnel along with inspecting daily job performance and equipment maintenance. Requires a high level of self-motivation, independent judgment and skill in making decisions regarding assigned personnel performance. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Supervises the daily work activities of assigned Support Service technicians and Assistant Custodians.
- Evaluates and Prepares recommendations regarding special projects or activities that may be handled by the Support Service crew.
- Inspects daily work performed by each crew technician and is responsible for each technician's performance appraisal.
- Directly responsible for the training, usage, maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials assigned.
- Submits daily status reports of crew activities to the Operations Section staff supervisors.
- Responsible for the training of assigned employees and the research and evaluation of new materials and equipment.
- Performs related work as assigned.

- Ability to make independent decisions and instigate required action
- Available to work as the needs of the job dictate, including weekends, evenings or required overtime
- Be familiar with various mechanical systems, maintenance and minor repair techniques
- Good communication skills and motivation ability
