TKD is looking for an Inventory Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular audits of retail locations alongside an inventory team. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to accuracy and a sense of urgency. While experience in inventory is preferred, no experience is required and we provide on the job training for the right candidate. Overtime pay can be a regular occurrence here, so you can make very decent money as an inventory auditor. TKD services the greater part of Montana, so travel is a part of this job and helping the crew with driving is a requirement as well and this does include Montana winter driving. TKD provides transportation for all locations outside of the Billings area. However, you are back home to Billings each day of inventory work. All commute time for travel locations is paid and is paid at minimum wage. This is the only job that pays you to catch up on your sleep on the way to work. TKD has regular wage reviews and the starting wage is $16.00 an hour for inventory work, but can quickly go higher for motivated employees. This is a full-time position and averages around fifty hours each week. Inventories begin at 6 am daily and includes travel before and after for locations outside of the Billings area. While each day differs of course, a rough idea of a standard work day is 3 AM to 3 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical inventories of retail stock.
- Verify accuracy of inventory records.
- Conduct spot checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Investigate discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
